mr. jerry wants you to take him home

November27

It’s a giveaway!

jerry

I love the holidays and I’d like to share some holiday-cheer with you.  I will draw TWO names on Thursday, December 3rd  at 9pm PST for Mr. Jerry brooches. International participants welcome!

Leave a comment with the following for a chance to win (each is worth one entry and you can do all of them if you want)
1: Tell me why or what you love about the holidays
2: Blog about the upcoming Got Craft Fair or Lilli’Q fair (see below) and include the link to your blog in your comment
3: Link your favourite handmade holiday item  (e.g. stockings, ornaments, cards etc)

If you’re in the Vancouver area, don’t forget to come out to the Got Craft show on December 6th! I’ll be there with bells on. Well, maybe not bells, but I’ll be all cheery and stuff.

Also, I’ll be participating in Lilli’Q Cafe’s first Christmas event! Lilli’Q is a family friendly space that features a children’s play area, lots of comfy couches, a stroller parking area inside, as well as a space on the 2nd floor for activities such as mom and tot classes. Come on down! :)

Cheers and good luck!

I love EVERYTHING about the holidays. As soon as it’s socially acceptable to put lights up (and honestly, usually a few weeks before that) I’m in full festive mode. I love decorating and crafting with friends… and baking and cooking with them too. Also, I’m in Calgary but my fam is in Ontario, so holiday time means getting to go home and visit. I’d love to take your little snowman friend home with me this year :)

What a cute snowman!! The best part about the holidays is buying gifts! Most of the year I hate shopping – but in Sept/Oct. I love to go pick out items to give to everyone! Yes – I start early :)

I love decorating (it’s a bonding time for me and my middle child – the others aren’t much into it!) and baking and shopping and wrapping and traveling to see family and friends – it’s all good!

I love the hope, warmth and good cheer generally associated with the holidays. I always try to do some random acts of kindness in my community to spread the holiday spirit.

While I would not hang this ornament on our tree, I think it is very cool and unique…a Zombie Snowman!

I love the special traditions…we go and see a nativity display at a nearby church, with over 800 loaned creches of all sizes, materials, from all different countries and people. It’s a fun tradition, we are very quiet and just in awe of this sight each year!
