I made a vow this Christmas to NOT buy any wrapping paper. I saved every bit of salvageable paper from last Christmas and have been finding other bits and bobs to wrap with. It’s working out pretty well so far… aided by the fact that there are also less presents to wrap! I guess the economic down-turn might actually be helping my wallet a little bit. Lol.

I’ve been getting these UBC Alumni magazines in the mail for the past while…  I read an article or two every time, but really, I find that they’re a terrible waste of resources. I’ve been hoarding them since they started coming so that I could use the nice thick paper for something crafty. It’s finally come in handy- makes decent wrapping dontcha think?

Save money and be green… win-win situation! :)
