I had a fling with Etsy. A Spring Fling to be exact.
Goodness me oh my am I ever tired!
Just got back from the Etsy Spring Fling not too long ago… I was going to post about my giveaway, but I think that’ll have to wait until tomorrow cuz I’m going to post some pics from today :)
Here’s my set up…I’m digging Davie and Chiyo’s balloons. Very cheery!

Some of my wares… I never remember to take pics of my owl onesies so I thought I should do that. They always make people exclaim, “I wish I knew a baby so I could buy this for them!” Hehe.

It’s the lovely Miranda of Hudsonny and her good friend Kim from MilkyBeer. Man, I should have gotten one of those gnomes… trouble is I don’t have enough room for all the stuff I already have :( One day, I shall have room enough for a little gnome army! lol. They’ll multiply right? :D

It’s Chris from A Cagey Bee! I met her briefly at the last Etsy fair, but this time we actually had a chance to chat it up. :)

Wherever there is a crafty something going on, you shall most definitely run into the duo of Got Craft? fame, Rob and Andrea!

Here are my lovely booth neighbours of Davie an Chiyo! Fumi (far right) is half of the clutch making pair (Himi makes the other half).

This is Asha, she doesn’t have and Etsy shop yet, but will have one up and running soon! I’m kicking myself in the butt for not buying soap from her as it totally slipped my mind. :P

OK, so when I have the room for the gnome army, I’m also going to get them little gardens in glass jars. Thryza (pronounced like Thursday, but just “ah” instead of “day” ^__^) had the COOLEST terrariums full of moss and succulents and fantastic little polymer creatures!

Here’s Alison (that’s your name right?! :D lol) from District Thirty admiring the greenery. I don’t think she’s giving me the finger, I think she’s just trying not to lose her cupcake. Hehee.

Here’s Lynn with her daughter who just opened up her own Etsy shop called TrashBaggs!

A shot from above…

K, gotta run now, must EAT. mmm… my belleh is going to be full of hot hot pho in just a moment. Ah, such is bliss. :)
Thanks again to Melanie for organizing this event!
thank you soooooo much for the sweet mention! i loved seeing your stuff in person – amazing!
i had a blast yesterday, meeting everyone and drooling a little too much for a grown-up over everyone’s lovely stuff. :-)
hope to see you all again soon!
Hey RitaSmeeta:
It was great to meet you at the sale- wish we had more time to talk, but I didn’t want to leave my poor mom abandoned at my table for too long. Your selection was great- the sellers next to me bought one of your little red ninjas.
I had a great time at the Spring Fling, and hope you enjoyed your well-deserved pho.
P.S. I adore the ‘ode to octopus’ you wrote on Akane’s giveaway- so full of emotion, yet hilarious!!!
Smeeta! Thanks for visiting my blog! I’m so happy you got some pictures too. I love seeing the hustle and bustle of a craft fair. I’m looking forward to shopping at the Got Craft show coming up. I haven’t done a craft show, so this is all research to me:) Your shop rocks and has been in my favourites forever. I hope to be half as successful as you’ve been on Etsy! It was so nice to see you in person:)
